Home Made Energy is one of the many new and supposedly innovative guides that are designed to give you an insight into renewable energy and how you can turn your home into an environmental fortress. There are plenty of them about at the moment and some of them do not provide any useful information at all. Home Made Energy is, by all accounts, quite different because it does provide meaningful and useful information, but you cannot always believe the reviews that you find elsewhere on the Internet!
Written by Bill Ford, who just happens to be a scientist and energy consultant, Home Made Energy is designed specifically for the homeowner that would otherwise lack the knowledge and ability to take advantage of renewable energy sources, but does it deliver? I reviewed Home Made Energy and found some fairly surprising but not altogether displeasing results!
Why Use Home Made Energy?
Home Made Energy is definitely a guide that is aimed at beginners. Written in simple language from start to finish with none of the jargon that you might find in more advanced guides, it is an effective step by step guide that will walk you through your renewable energy options with little fuss.
Although there are no instructional videos, the instructional diagrams that are found in the Home Made Energy system are fairly detailed and are incredibly efficient. There are no steps for show at all. Every single step present is essential so you literally do everything you have to do to establish your own sources of renewable energy. The wind turbine plans especially are absolutely excellent. It covers all of the areas and certainly produces effective turbines first time. Trust me, I can vouch for that! The solar panel plans are also good but they are not quite as comprehensive as the turbine ones. You should make sure that the instructions are followed to the letter because you might otherwise get a little confused.
Although there are no extras thrown into the package, you do not need them because everything you need is right there in the Home Made Energy system. You get instant access following the completion of payment and can access any revisions or updates as and when they are released. As such, you get the best possible system for the lifetime of the product. All for $47!
The Positives
There are too many positives to mention. I know I may be waxing lyrical about this product but you will see why when you download the instructions for yourself. Some of the select positives are below:
- Quick and efficient customer service via email
- A fun and effective system that is easy to put into place… especially the wind turbine. The results look professional and really do save you a lot of money over the course of a few months.
- There are only 43 pages. This is a positive? Yes it is because you do not get any of the filler information at all. Instead, you just get cold, hard facts and instructions.
- No jargon – the biggest positive of this system. Anyone can understand it.
The Negatives
There are actually very few negatives associated with the Home Made Energy system:
- No instructional videos, which would have been especially helpful on the solar panel build because that was a little confusing from time to time.
- There were no maintenance instructions. This is not a problem initially but in the coming years it might well be!
Worth Every Penny Or A Waste Of Energy?
Pardon the pun! At $47, Home Made Energy is an absolute bargain and one of the best renewable energy systems out there… or at least one of the better options I have tried out for size. The only system that has any advantage over Home Made Energy is Earth 4 Energy and that is literally only owing to the absence of instructional videos. Although I very much doubt you will, should you not like the system then you can request a full refund for your copy of Home Made Energy within 60 days.
Home Made Energy is definitely well worth every single penny but if you do have significant experience of DIY or renewable energy then you might prefer a more technical guide. If you happen to be like me and prefer technical projects to be as simple as possible then this is the system of choice though and comes highly recommended.
